Welcome to Armed Services Hockey! The purpose of this web site is to provide you with information and results on our sport's program and championships. It's also a media platform to provide for direct exchange of information between services and our military athletes throughout the Department of Defense (DoD). The military promotes healthy living by offering a number of recreational and competitive opportunities to participate in. Many of these sports are sponsored on both the intramural and the service level. These opportunities are offered at minimal or no cost to the participant. Unfortunately, with the exception of a very small number of locations, hockey is unsupported at all levels. Service members wanting to participate in the sport are left to pay for substantial private league fees and equipment. Armed Services Hockey was the first to organize members throughout the world and will continue to be the foundation of support for hockey throughout our military ranks. Although there are not enough athletes per installation to support intramural activities there are enough to support both installation level tournaments and Service/DoD level teams. Through meticulous organization and planning the group of members, working as Armed Services Hockey, will always present a professional affluence to the public and military media demonstrating the importance of teamwork, physical fitness, as well as increasing military morale and public support.
